In their tracks, the musician and vocalist merges an array of sonic influences from grime to electro, reggaeton, and ambient. With an added layer of thought-provoking sci-fi and sociopolitical concepts, Born in Flamez conjures a sort of post-humanist pop music.

Since emerging with a track on Monkeytown Records in 2014, the Berlin-based artist has gone on to release on international labels such as Infinite Machine and Friends of Friends, opting to self-release their most recent EP, Dinosaur Shakedown, in late 2019. Born in Flamez has also collaborated with the likes of Modeselektor, Health, and WWWINGS. In addition to DJ bookings at club nights, they have performed on festival stages such as Primavera Sound (Barcelona) and Le Guess Who? (Utrecht).
