Born and raised in Berlin, she studied physics, philosophy, and digital art as well as media theory, media informatics, electro acoustic composition, and dance. She has been teaching sound and space at the HfK Bremen, and music production and performance in VR, AR, XR, and using AI at the University of Arts Berlin. She has also worked for scientific institutions as a student, including the MARUM in Bremen, and trained at IFISC (Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems) in Mallorca, Spain.

In January 2016, Byrke Lou started movLab, an open group that resides in Berlin and discusses processes of digitising the human body, and how this relates to performance art. Her work has been shown at Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, transmediale Berlin, Bauhaus Dessau, Ars Electronica Linz, Händelhaus, Halle, Globe Theatre L.A., and SXSW Texas among other. She has also been invited numerous times to speak on the impact of AI, VR, and AR on music, the entertainment industry, and creative processes for events in Germany and the US.

In 2018 she released an exhibition on vinyl named »CODE,« followed by a digital + audio cassette of music with AI infused vocals in 2020, titled »bayes.«
