As a co-founding member of Paradoxe Club, De Grandi has released three EPs with the Paris crew so far, the latest being Paris Nord-Est: its euphoric title track was selected by FACT magazine as one of their »Best tracks of 2019« for »welding the bug-eyed rush of 90s trance to pounding, intricate drumwork, which bears traces of Baltimore club and Ivorian coupé-décalé.« De Grandi began 2020 by switching to another Parisian label, TV Showw, for his fourth EP: 11-100-JAILLE further displayed the producer's sonic dexterity. Resident Advisor summed it up in their review: »He's no stranger to pleasant moments, but his music is often harsh, primed to give ravers ›WTF?‹ sounds to stomp to in a sweaty basement.« The lead track »TTP« was accompanied by a sensuously disturbing clip, reaching new eyes and ears thanks to a premiere on Boiler Room's 4:3 channel. In June, De Grandi contributed a guest mix to Teki Latex's show on BBC Radio 1, and in November made an appearance on Accidental Meetings: Friends & Family Vol. 1, the Brighton-based music collective's first compilation.
Although he's now situated in Brussels, De Grandi is still linked with Paradoxe Club and can be heard regularly on Rinse France along with his associates Le Dom, Sunareht and Birol.
