The show is hosted Sarah Johanna Theurer, a critical practitioner of 21st century techno-social techniques and theories. Theurer currently works as an Associate Curator at Haus der Kunst in Munich, thinking about curating as hosting; about symbiosis, care, and trust.

Based in Berlin, Cashmere Radio broadcasts unconventional formats on the city's airwaves, as well as on the web for an international audience. Since emerging in 2015, the community-driven station has been offering amorphous programming that ranges from topical to timeless, guided by experimentation while honoring the traditions of radio. Regular shows include »Afroelectronik« mixed by DJ Juba, the discursive »ORIENTierungsplan« curated by academic and activist Erkan Affan, and the freeform »D.I.Y. Church« hosted by reluctant bishop of the underground, DJ Schlucht.
