Trandafoiu is the author of Diaspora Online: Identity Politics and Romanian Migrants (Berghahn) and the co-editor of The Globalization of Musics in Transit: Musical Migration and Tourism (Routledge) and Media and Cosmopolitanism (Peter Lang). She is currently writing Politics of Migration and Diaspora in Eastern Europe: Media, Policy and Public Discourse, to be published by Routledge in 2021. She has previously published on music, nationhood, and migration; turbo folk, Roma identity and cosmopolitanism; and music festivals and regional identity from a transnational perspective.
