Formed in 2012, group A have pushed the boundaries of what a concert can entail, incorporating disciplines such as performance art, body art, and live painting along with noise and sound art. Their live performances are always evolving, but what remains constant is an essence of experimentation. The group’s frequent collaborations with visual artists, dancers, media, artists, and scenographers of different practices is one of the crucial processes in Tokyo’s experimentation both of sound and performance.

Most recently, Tot Onyx teamed up with NYC producer Hiro Kone for an abrasive collaborative track on the Berlin Atonal box set compilation, More Light, released in August 2020.
