The Berlin-based artist's approach draws from art theory, experimental club culture, audio engineering, and non-Western music. Following three albums and a handful of EPs since first appearing in 2009, Friedman returned to Malmö label Kontra-Musik in 2020 for the release of Epiphytic, 25-minutes of hypnotic, spiraling synth improvisation.
