Since 2015, Refuge has worked with a young women’s center, refugee housing support associations, a music school for marginalized people, social equity groups, homelessness agencies, and a shelter for women and young persons fleeing domestic violence, among others. They now host weekly workshops, training programmes, and classes in media, creative fields, and mental health, which are free to attend. Refuge Worldwide is also involved in a number of collaborative projects around the globe with like-minded collectives, radio stations, and activists.

For this edition of CTM, radio platform Refuge Worldwide is represented by five different DJs who will play chill-out and experimental sounds together for the first time, in an all-night-long B2B session. Two Thou, aka Two Thousand, is a producer from South Sardinia inspired by the idea of a future that stems largely from the last century. NM DJ is a recording artist based in Berlin, who will also perform spoken-word poems on the night at SchwuZ. Richard Akingbehin is a co-founder of Refuge Worldwide, as well as the founder of Kynant Records. ELLLL, is known mainly for her blend of techno, bass and breaks. O.N.A, a Manchester-born artist and core member of Black Artist Database, completes the bill.
