Hailing from Rotterdam but heavily influenced by the London/Detroit connection, the crate diggers wield vinyl weapons ranging from a spectrum of hi-tek and grimy sounds. These two creative minds will guide you through their interpretation of sound, where everything goes, no filters.

Of their name, they note that cadmium is a chemical element used in various applications, from batteries to electroplating. It is also highly poisonous. For the duo, it became a metaphor for the discrepancy between who we are and how we may be viewed by others. They remind us that the dancefloor has always been a place for everyone and music has always been a language which speaks to all. In pursuit of individuality we are eventually all the same.
