Finding inspiration and connection with music since childhood, the German-Vietnamese artist has built a bass-heavy style with a fusion of club sounds – from electro, dubstep, drum and bass, jungle, and juke to hard drums, global bass, and jersey club. HIỀN ĐIÊN fuses these with diverse ribbons of other influences. Polyrhythms come into play, leading the mind down unexpected paths and bridging deeper connections between audience and music. Particularly inspired by Southeast Asia’s underground Nhạc Gẫy music, a HIỀN ĐIÊN set is always deeply imbued with personality and full of surprises.
