With the autoharp as the central pillar of her musical journey, Petra Hermanova forges some of the most beguiling resonate sounds you’ll hear. Together with vocal accompaniment, she explores the realms of death and the religious concepts revolving around it, painting a narrative of the gentleness within the human condition woven of symbolism and sonic textures. Utilising folk and sacred musical technique and instrumentation, her new album In Death’s Eyes blends the sounds of the transcendent with the worldly, offering solace for both the spirit and the earth-bound. Out on the art platform and label Unguarded, it features the gorgeous pipe organing of the esteemed Denny Wilke.

She has toured internationally with previous projects including extensive sound and visual collaborations with Jon Eirik Boska (Hydropsyche) as well as with her award-winning band Fiordmoss.
