If you like your bass unhinged, PONYO has the hard-hitting flavours you crave. Originally from Istanbul and now based in Berlin, PONYO is a graduate of Femme Bass Mafia's first mentorship programme. Together with her already-burgeoning passion for powerful dance strangeness, it rocketed her style into genre-transcending wildness. Co-founder of local party Heartscape and the DJ platform capsule berlin, on the decks she’ll blast out gabbering hardcore of the avant garde variety, juke wormholes, and machine-gun breaks with abandon, but always keeping the vibe just to the right side of coherent to keep it from spiralling into cacophony.
