Growing up in the south of France, Tatyana Jane has kept a firm grasp of her Cameroon roots. Her productions incorporate jagged broken beat rhythms and the 90s Cameroonian genre called Bend-skin, creating a dance reconceptualisation of mysticism and ritual club invocation. With her debut EP Clavaria Formosa, released last year on Boukan Records, Jane twists tradition even harder, crafting a definitively de/reconstructed Cameroonian sound for a new generation.
