In polyphonic vocal meshes and fulminant outbursts, sound imitations of historical synthesizers can be heard, create altogether new soundscapes with cluster-forming Minimoog sounds and unbounded frequency modulations in harmony with microtonal Hammond organs (Poppe). The synthi-classics Vocoder, Minimoog, and Buchla try out their coexistence from filigree sound cascades to edgy dances (Koumará). A polyphonic canon is transformed by a single generator into a monodic chant in sawtooth mode (Marcoll). Myriads of individually recorded and cut samples are added: Questions of reality are recontextualised in a choreography designed for nine keyboards (Ivičević). ensemble mosaik's nine performers appearing on this night are not themselves keyboard virtuosos, but virtuosos in dealing with electronic sounds.
