His opera, Lampedusa, was premiered by BBC Singers in 2019. He composed for renowned ensembles such as the BBC Concert Orchestra and London Sinfonietta.  Eduardo has also been developing AI for music since the early 1990s, and is a pioneer in the use of quantum computers for musical composition. He is a professor at the University of Plymouth, UK, and director of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Computer Music Research (ICCMR). His latest book, Quantum Computer Music, was published in 2022 by Springer.
