Generative Music Environment for Microtonal Tuning Systems

Apotome

Created by Khyam Allami and Counterpoint, Apotome is a novel browser based music software that offers new possibilities to work with tuning system of any culture. It will be launched during CTM 2021 through a string of activities, inclduing a public presentation, a panel dicussion, and performances by Deena Abdelwahed, Enyang Ha, Faten Kanaan, Lucy Railton, Nene H, Slikback, Tot Onyx, Tyler Friedman, and Wahono.

Virtual Sci-fi Rave in Minecraft

Club Matryoshka x CTM

A 6-hour journey through the specially created Hyphae Lebbeus Minecraft world, with a story-based gameplay narrative co-developed with Children of Cyberspace and live soundtrack by Bored Lord, Mary Anne Hobbs, object blue, Sonia Calico, ZULI & many more.

IOR50 Studio present a queer motion capture archive within Club Quarantäne's virtual club’s space, while representatives from queer collectives ArtKB48, Maricas, Papi Juice, Pussy Party, Tortilla, and ZonaEXP take over the decks.

Live Performances Filmed in High-definition 360° VR Video

CTM 360°

Performances by Cuntroaches, Mentrix, and the SPANDAU20 collective together with visual artists Pfadfinderei shot live in Festsaal Kreuzberg using high-definition 360° cameras, allow online viewers to change there viewpoints and explore the scene from various angles.

CTM Drop App

The CTM Drop App allows the audience to interact with and show their appreciation to performing artists via emojis and a ◊ Drop (token) system. After the festival, each participating artist will receive additional income (on top of their artist fee) based on the number of ◊ Drops they have received. Unused ◊ Drops will be equally split between all participating artists.

Streamed Excerpts from the Morphine x Beirut Fundraiser

Morphine x Beirut

This past October, Morphine and CTM Festival joined forces with several Beirut music initiatives, and Unsound to create a 17-hour livestream fundraiser for the Lebanese Musicians' Fund in order to provide relief to musicians impacted by the deadly blast of August 4th in Beirut.

Platform for Berlin's Independent Arts Initiatives

Vorspiel

Vorspiel's 10th anniversary comprises a programme created by 35 participating initiatives. Through various online formats the initiative aims to garner visibility for the city's independent artist scene. Vorspiel launches on 15 January with an online version of its traditional interview »staffetto« relay.
