Decentralisation is the Future

Alkisah Network

Senyawa’s Alkisah release is an experiment in distributed music distribution; by giving their music freely to those all over the globe who wanted to be involved, Rully Shabara and Wukir Suryadi enabled new modes of creativity and collaboration to emerge through recorded audio. Learn more about the initiative and the namesake network of 44 labels that came together to make it happen.

Recording Sessions and Live Performance

Phantom Orchestra

In collaboration with Morphine Records and featuring over 40 improvisational artists, Raed Yassin presents »Phantom Orchestra,« an archival project of solo improvisational recordings and an unconventional performance developed in the context of pandemic lockdowns.

SHAPE x CTM 2022 Mix Series

This series of exclusive mixes by artists Audrey Chen, Avtomat, Hüma Utku, KMRU, Pak Yan Lau, Sentient_1, and Zoë Mc Pherson stretches across some of the sounds supported by the SHAPE platform for adventurous and emerging artists.

Commissioned works exploring hybrid radio possibilities

CTM Radio Lab

Winning projects by Andrius Arutiunian, Fronte Violeta with Martha Kiss Peronne, and Jonathan Reus (Kontinuum) will premiere at CTM. The commissioned new works explore the intersection of radio with live or generative installation mediums within the context of the festival’s Contact theme.

An interactive dissection of human violence

Humane Methods [ΣXHALE]

Combining dance, theatre, interactive music, body art, and biotechnological installation, »Humane Methods [ΣXHALE]« is a living biome that takes shape as a collective, durational experiment in four episodes. Created by Berlin-based performing arts group Fronte Vacuo (Marco Donnarumma, Margherita Pevere, Andrea Familari).
